Head Coach Men’s Soccer
Elie was the assistant coach for men’s soccer in 2016 and has already begun his tenure as head coach. As the first team assistant for the 2016 Eagles, Elie helped TBC Men’s Soccer win the NCCCA South Region Championship, and the team finished the season ranked third in the nation.
Before joining the Eagles, Elie was the head boys soccer coach at Liberty Christian Prep in Tavares, Florida. He led the team to an FCAPPS Boys State Championship in an undefeated season.
Prior to Liberty Christian Prep, Elie was the head coach at Maynard Evans High School in Orlando for four years from 2011-2015. During this time, Evans underwent one of the most impressive turnarounds Orange County has ever seen: from winning one game in the previous four years to compiling a record of 59-26-12 in the next four years and making two regional playoff appearances. Evans also won the 2014 Hickory Point Tournament. Elie’s team had a very high graduation rate of over 80%, and many of his former athletes have played or currently play college soccer.
Elie graduated from Florida State University with a double bachelors in Athletic Training and Sports Management, respectively. He is a United States Federation-licensed coach as well as a certified athletic trainer and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. As an athletic trainer, he works with numerous organizations, including Orlando City Soccer Club, Olympic Development Program, and the Jamaican Women’s national team.
Elie is a native of Petionville, Haiti. Elie is the son of Pastor Joel Jean and Mrs. Marie Withny Jean. The family migrated to the United States in April of 2001 and has been living in the Orlando/Kissimmee area ever since.
