The Trinity Baptist College Eagles traveled to Mobile, Alabama, Tuesday night to face their fourth and final NCAA Division 1 opponent of the 2017-2018 season. The University of South Alabama Jaguars came away with the win by a score of 99-34.
Chandler Rivers led the Eagles with 10 points, and Marquel Perry was next with 7. Perry also tied for the team lead with 6 rebounds, matching Ethan Payne.
Andrew Bowman and Caleb Howard each scored five points while Marquis Duncanson added four, Jykayle Walker scored two, and Zack Norris had one.
Leading scorers for the Jaguars included Rodrick Sikes and Jordan Andrews with 16 each, Nick Davis with 14, and Kevin Morris with 12.
The Eagles will play their next four games on the road, beginning with the Johnson University Classic in Kissimmee, Florida, on Friday and Saturday, January 12 and 13. The Eagles will play Grace Bible College on Friday and Randall University on Saturday. Both games begin at 5:00 p.m. EST.
The next home games are scheduled for January 23 and 27 when the Eagles host Johnson University of Florida (7:00 p.m.) and Piedmont International University (4:00), respectively.
