TBC Eagles Baseball recently completed its fourth season, and each year, the team has increased its number of wins against very tough competition. Head coach Jon Copeland expects even more success in 2019. He is adding new talent to his young roster, and he continued his successful recruiting season by signing Class 7A LHP Carson Euverard from South Florida.

Carson Euverard — Eagle Lake, FL

Carson is a graduate and former pitcher for Lake Region High School in Polk County. Carson played for Coach Bill Bullock and the Class 7A Lake Region Thunder. He has a very impressive athletics resume, which includes four years of varsity baseball and soccer. Carson’s athletic achievements include the following:

— Four-year letterman in both baseball & soccer

— Three-year varsity starter for both baseball and soccer

— 0.00 ERA as a freshman relief pitcher

— LRHS Freshman Pitcher of the Year

— Career 3.12 ERA in four years of varsity baseball

— 2.25 ERA as a senior in 2018

— All-County Baseball

— All-State Soccer.

Carson also earned high accolades in the classroom and among his peers. He graduated with high honors by posting a 3.76 GPA. He is a member of the National Honor Society. Fellow students elected him both Student Body President and Best All-Around Student of his senior class.

Coach Copeland is excited to have Carson join his roster. “Carson is a top-level player and person,” he stated. “He fits in very well with a very talented 2018 recruiting class.
